2400 USD rig here. Running at 40 FPS in the woods and 19 FPS in towns. Fucking epic I tell you  > :(

 

Lemme guess : You just bought it in a store and have no clue about PC's?

 

 

Hmm, I was a competetive shooter for many years. And never ever in all that time did I see another shooter that aimed with both eyes. I guess if you can't aim for shit anyway, whats the difference? But when you are competetive you don't aim with both your eyes becaus you will lose.

 

Maybe. Maybe in competitive shooting you don't have to watchout for some taliban trying to jump you from the left with an 47 in his hands. Maybe shooting with both eyes open gives you 3D sight, allowing for a better estimation of target distance? Might be, don't it?

I see no problem here, you could make the sights transparent to simulate stereoscopic vision for people without the Oculus rift.
