Question about spawn points

Are there set spawn points, or is it random?

 

And if there are set spawn points, how many are there?

There no really set but more or less the the same area..

 

Most spawns usually along the coast and i hear some spawns are in land.

Yesterday I spawned in Novy Sobor, I was wondering if it was a bug or if there are really spawnpoints that far north.

I also lost the previous character without dying, it somehow got lost on the central server I guess, and when I logged in I was in Novy Sobor with starting equipment (I logged out in the "Projects" area between Balota and Cherno)

I got the spawn near Novy too, its an awesome change from the coastal spawn.

Mostly along the southern or eastern coast up to about Solnichniy, sometimes spawning up Novy/Stary way.

 

What I would love to see is random spawning throughout the map not just the coast, maybe limited to semi remote areas or at least outside of towns/cities.

We need more spawns at electro and Kamenka tbh. Haven't spawned there even once yet.
