Bugged inside a house.

So i went into a 2 story house, the 1st floor wasn't accesible, and then i basically fell through the floor and i am stuck underneath the house, i can see through all the walls, but i cannot run through them, ive tried jumping, crawling, everything, and i cannot get out.

Is there anything i can do to reset myself? or even just delete my character and start again? I only bought this game today and i know i have to expect bugs, but i didn't pay $30 to be stuck in a house until the game is finished..

Its an alpha dude don't get attached to your character or gear. There will be bugs and weird stuff happening all the time. Just hit Escape and respawn.

 

You paid $30 dollars to play an early access alpha version of the game and were warned that it has issues so don't get all "I just wasted my money" on us.........

This has actually happened to me and you can get out! it is not so obvious how, I will explain...

 

1) Go up to one of the invisible walls, run against it for a bit to ensure you are fully against it.

2) Press vault (climb over) while facing the wall

3) As the animation starts of the character climbing onver nothing quickly hit esc and quit the server (must complete logout while the animation is playing)

4) Relog into a server and voila.......you should be out.

 

This worked for me first time, if it doesn't work for you immediately, give it a few tries, it is important to be quick with the logout of the server..

Thanks Rowdy I logged in again and i had respawned somewhere else, also esc menu had no option to respawn, it was greyed out

and I'm not getting all "i wasted my money" i dont care if the game plays up now and then, but being stuck and not able to do anything about it would be a problem.

Wow, that first response was an awfully insightful and amazingly helpful answer.  :rolleyes:

 

When that's happened to me, I've been able to do that vault / step over move back through the wall.  I've had to stand there stepping over the invisible wall for a minute or two before he makes it out, but it's gotten me out a couple of times without having to log out.  When they say "trust no one", that includes walls.

Note beware houses that look like this...They have been know to each Dayz players on a regular basis. ;)

I got struck the same - all i did

1. face the wall

2.run very fast & press vault at the same time 

 

i got out with no prob

I once got out by just sprint-jumping at a wall. One of my friends tried sprinting out (without jumping) and he got out, but ended up flying the distance of Balota to Cherno vertically.

Thats the only house i have trouble with and i don't go in them any more...

Spamming whisper kick will get you out of pretty much anything if used properly.

 

When you get stuck on rocks for example.
