Steam overlay

No matter what I do I can't access the steam overlay in game or take screenshots using F12.

Any ideas?

 I have it enabled. It's very strange. Other games I can Shift+tab and it pops right up. Dayz never.

Very odd since I do not have any issues with the Steam overlay or screenshot function in DayZ SA.

Only one I do have is mistakenly having the overlay pop up when I'm moving slowly(shift) and I open up my inventory(tab), but this is just me being too lazy to bind a different key for opening the inventory UI.  :P

  Just to wrap this up. If anyone else can't use steam overlay with DAYZ alpha, the problem was with windows 7 User Account Control(UAC). Disabling this solved the problem for me.

for some reason these things don't work for me the first time I hit the button, but they usually work the second time and every time after that

You can't take screenshots while holding ALT or aimed in, I believe.

I thought this, but when I checked my FRAPS image directory the shots were there.

Mhh just tested screenshots and overlay work for me....
