Removal of elevation adjustments by 100s of meters.

Recommended Posts

Anything that makes mid-long range shooting more of a challenge certainly gets my vote.

Anyone who ever shot a rifle at distances > 200m knows how much more difficult it is compared to the "line up crosshair with target and press the right mouse button"-method of computer games.

Thats the beauty of adapting the real life method of elevation adjustment.

#1. It makes the devs jobs easier since all the optics they add in the game adjust the same way using minutes they dont have to fine tune each weapon since range is dependent on the player and how fast the velocity of each particular gun.

#2. It makes sniping more accurate good players would be able to quickly set up data charts that are far more detailed than what is currently in game. Say you have a target at 931 m with a little simple math you can find the exact moa adjustment that you need for said distance.

#3 It does not punish players it only encourages them to get better. With experience and some real life knowledge players will be far more effective using this real life system.
