Lan help?

So a couple of friends and I was going to throw a lan this weekend and we discovered that we could not play on the same server, somehow it bugs out and we could not see eachother. Anyone have any ideas how to fix it?

Game isn't LAN compatible. Leave the LAN, join the game individually. One of you find a server and the rest use steam to join him from the friends list. Easy.

We are 5 ppl playing on the same connection. We are using steam and joining from it. Still not working.

No idea then mate. Probably has to do with how your network is set up in your house.
