3d person cheating with screenshots

Recommended Posts

It's really simple: 3rd person gives an advantage that mimics your own level of perception in the real world. In the real world you can hear and see a lot more than you can ingame, and you have these things called eyes which can swivel around and a thing called a neck which can turn. You can also lean around corners and such in ways you can't ingame. 3rd person has a place in DayZ, whether it be to look at dat az or just for a higher level of perception when running through the woods, just like first person has a place for aiming and looking at specific things.

The solution isn't to take out 3rd person, the solution is to make 3rd person not an advantage in combat where it currently gives an unfair advantage. Simply turn off the crosshair in 3rd person so you can't aim and fight, and remove the zoom functionality so if you want to look at something in  the distance you use first person.

yeah that first person stuff is just too unrealistic, can't even look at the back of your head or through solid walls, really annoying

Oh don't be a baby. First person servers are coming, so you can remove your stick.

Until they optimize the game, 1st person vision is awkward and sometimes nauseating.  It's not cheating if everyone can easily do it.

It's what adds a lot to the genre.

Thing is although you can see someone while the other player can't, you can't shoot him until you are in a view to be seen.

It happened to me many times where I was flanked by someone ready to kill me and I was able to turn it around.

Take for exemple counter strike. It takes a lot of practice to be fast and skilled but one thing I can tell is you need to be ready to encounter someone after every single corner.

In the end it's fair for everyone because we all can use it at our own advantage.

I would advise against you making a topic stating that you are not interested in opinions (which is silly in the first place) and then contradict yourself by giving an opinion.

Regardless, there is already a discussion on 3rd person/1st person. Use this topic please.
