Ammo Box Issue

Good day all...

 

Hope you all are enjoying the game as much as I...  (Except Server Hoppers)

 

I searched the forum and didn't find anything on this - I found a Ammo Box, I had 3 full 30/30 clips that I emptied and added the rounds in the box so I can have room for more loot, now I need the rounds and cannot figure out how to get them out, I have 1 empty coupled clip and when I right click on the ammo box all i have is INSPECT option :(

Put it in your hands.

Put the ammo box in to your hands to take the rounds out.

Drop the box on the ground, wait for it to appear and it will come up and all the ammo will be visible.  Then drag and drop to load.  Or do what's posted above.  Also if you can find the two 30 STANAG clips bound together you can load them both, then unload them and you'll have one stack of 60 instead of stacks of 30.  Helps to save a bit of space.

Be aware that you can only see one of two rows of slots in the box while holding it in your hands. Only when it's on the ground you can see all ten slots of the box.
