DirectD3d 9 error

Hello,

I'm writing for a friend, we're currently in the midst of trying to get him into DayZ after my ranting reviews. He has purchased arma2 combined ops from steam and installed both games. They run fine normally. He then downloaded six launcher and used it to install the DayZ files. Now however whenever he attempts to join a server he recieves the DirectD3D 9 error and cannot do so.

Is there any fix for this problem as it occures to six launcher users?

Im getting multiple errors left and right. This mod has become a shitstorm of frustration for me. Everything I did works, Arma II and Operation Arrow head, I install this and not jack shit works.

I get an error that says I'm missing buildings, camouflage, that I need to remove certain Aircraft related files as well as animal files. Now I get that i'm missing CABuildings and it can't start my Direct3D Engine.

Im so goddamn lost, I'm on the verge of wiping all existence there ever was of Arma : II on my computer and doing a nice, clean re-install.

( So lost. Sooo soo very lost. )

But to you're issue, I've found that if you start with Steam, and beta enabled it'll do this. I validated files and it gives me a CABuildings and it cant initialize the Direct3D engine. It never works for me anymore. So I generally start with beta disabled. Even when I do it the other way around, it doesn't really help.
