Keep in mind, while this is a " Realistic Mod " they do have to balance it with game play elements that make it fun. And like other touched on, it does need to be easy to find, since so many people are bandits anymore. ( Personal experiences. The worlds " Friendly! Friendly! " don't mean much anymore :P ) But, yeah. Not saying it's too easy, but I don't think it's all that terribly hard either. All you need is a group to kick ass and eat beans. ( And I'm all outa beans.... )

Hmm...I'm fine with this as long as they don't come onto this game and try to change everything, make it easy and newbie friendly, i'll be fine.

Or when I find a hatchet or Makarov after hours of searching, with food and water, lots of mags and bandages, and then get sniped from somewhere. That moment. Aye, the mod is a bit harsh. I cant even get a weapon D: The first time I got a hatchet I bled to death, and have no other history of a weapon :P. Though if this were a real life situation ( Which it is not ), but if it were, I think I maaayy have a pistol in the event of a Zombie apocalypse. Just maybe :P

Agreed. Vile isn't impressing me as much of a clan leader either. Seems immature. But then again I don't really know him. He's still acting like a 4 year old who got his loli taken away.

The hilarious thing is, I'd believe the players over the server owner and his cronies. Because I can see that he's bringing in his friends to back him up. Thats not a good sign. You're claims are also outlandish, as you have no solid proof that he ran a script. Again, I believe the player over the server owner. I can see people doing this, and a server owner could lie to protect his rep. Plus, I've never had my game stop responding like that. Plus, you really had no reason to restart the server.

I can see where your coming from, however; if I have a character on a server, and ths server goes down, I would have to create a whole new character. I'm not nessecarily up for making a whole new character because the servers down.

I got the EXACT same thing. I've found that if you actually delete those files, it'll generally go away. For me it did, at least. I think it has something to do with the way the game signs a file, not sure. But I know I had 2 sets of the offending files, and I deleted the ones that didn't have a key. And in fact I just noticed that they're back. I have no idea really. But when I deleted them the error did go away. Not sure why.

Hey guys. Got my past shiz sorted out, but now I face a new problem Occasionally, on a rare occasion where it doesn't flat out kick me, I get stuck at " Wait for Host " Then other times, I get kicked and get an error about a Config file. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Halp plox? :huh:

I'll occasionally get the same. Well, all the time actually. I just get kicked from the game and have the exact same error you do. It sucks.

Im getting multiple errors left and right. This mod has become a shitstorm of frustration for me. Everything I did works, Arma II and Operation Arrow head, I install this and not jack shit works. I get an error that says I'm missing buildings, camouflage, that I need to remove certain Aircraft related files as well as animal files. Now I get that i'm missing CABuildings and it can't start my Direct3D Engine. Im so goddamn lost, I'm on the verge of wiping all existence there ever was of Arma : II on my computer and doing a nice, clean re-install. ( So lost. Sooo soo very lost. ) But to you're issue, I've found that if you start with Steam, and beta enabled it'll do this. I validated files and it gives me a CABuildings and it cant initialize the Direct3D engine. It never works for me anymore. So I generally start with beta disabled. Even when I do it the other way around, it doesn't really help.
