King of kong 1117 Posted December 27, 2013 Im just glade I am not the only person with LOW FPS I thought it was just me. Nice to know that this is not just me.20 FPS is Okay. I have to deal with 10-15 and I enjoy the game
prix 43 Posted December 27, 2013 Did anyone read what I said? Read the god damn guide on the wiki, I get 60+ FPS now on 1920 res and it still looks pretty good. That guide that you didnt even link too so I'm just guessing when I googled for some guide on some wikipedia that this was the guide you wanted everyone too read but didn't even link too Still, after following this guide my FPS is the same. About 35-45 FPS in forest areas and about 19 FPS in towns. Rig: FX-8350 @ 4,5GhzCrossfire Radeon R9 290Samsung SSD8GB ram

JESUSARIUS REX (DayZ) 163 Posted December 28, 2013 How i set up my game:1920x1080vsync on Textures:vram-autotextures-hightexture filtering(anistropic filtering?)-very high Quality:Objects-highTerrain-highclouds-normalshadows-disabled rendering:AA-disabledATOC-disabledEdge smoothing-disabledHDR quality- low(highest setting)Ambient occlusion-disabledpost processing-disabledbloom and blur are off. I am using a single 550 ti, as DayZ doesn't support sli. System specsi5 4670k (stock)8gb gkill ripjaws @ 21332x 550 ti SLI (only 1 being used)1TB seagate barracuda 7200 rpm My game is always playable, even in cities. mind you not huge 60 fps, but always playable (30-40). I have no idea how you can't play with a 780/770/760/660. My friend has a 760 FTW edition, and he can max dayz no problem. My guess would be you guys don't have good enough cpu's or driver issues. Kipale 78 Posted December 28, 2013 Fps fix will never come. There is no way they can make magical fps upgrade with that engine. Sorry to burst your bubble.

epicpwnerer 1 Posted December 29, 2013 I wish people would stop saying bf4,crysis etc runs high fps compared to dayz/arma as they utilise different parts of the pc - bf4 is gpu, days is cpu also motherboard clock speeds may bottleneck data transfer not by much i don't think.i have i7 3770k dual 660s sli disabled asus Maximus extreme iv and hit 70/80 frames

Foopsz 2 Posted December 30, 2013 I messed with alot of stuff. FPS hits 30-40 sometimes I guess I can live with it for the time being until the updates roll out I am pretty sure there will be a fix for this. because people with GTX 780 TI and i7 4770k say there are getting bad fps.
