3D DayZ

So as the title implies anyone tried Dayz in 3d. I know did was just interested to see how it went and i was quite surprised.

 

Even though nvidea doesnt have a rating for it it works rather well apart from 2 smalll flaws the occasional shadow makes your screen flicker or edge black and well my frames go from 35 in city to 24 lol.

 

Most impressive was how the inventory looks i mean they added 3d models to inventory and it realy shines in 3d with the tool tip version of gear really sticking out of the screen hell i even found melee easier in 3d as it seemed to give much better depth perception for where the axe will hit.

 

All in all it was pretty cool wouldnt use it often personally hard on the eyes specially the amounts i play but definately cool .

 

Wondering did the devs go for 3d play intergration  or is it just a happy coincedence with using old school full 3d models for everything rather than alot of tricks to make it appear as 3d world on a 2d monitor???
