(TMW) Marion Mic 104 Posted December 24, 2013 Hell ow everyone. My name is Marion Mic, and I have just become IRL hero. I just went outside, to grab a smoke, when I saw strange light in my neigbor's apartment. First thing that cross my mind was. Why everyone have christmass lights in house. Put them outside, on balcony, it is much better. And the next second I realised, I am looking into a fire. With no hasitation I run to te neighbours doors and I needed 4 massive kicks in to them, before they broke. There was a lot of smoke, and fire was comming from curtains and the wooden table, and I saw, it was the advent candles that started it. I took the clothes that were on the kitchen chair, soaked them with water and choked fire on table. Then I ripped of burning curtain and put out the fire by jumping on them. Then I found a dog and let it run outside. Now all the neighbours are in the valley, firetruck, firemans, police cars and officers. I gave them my statement and went back, light another cigarette and I was thinking... Should I post this on DayZ forum? Sorry for bad writting, I believe I am in shock now. - MM

foamninja 77 Posted December 24, 2013 Um . . . not to be a dick but good for you? Once in Lashkar Gah Afghanistan I pulled a little girl from the middle of the street during a firefight with Sunni Rebels that were opening fire upon anyone they seen pretty much. After the 20 minute or so battle we had seen she had been shot in the leg during, I applied a tourniquet which had later saved her life. However you don't see me going around video game forums and posting my story for praise and thanks. Also you wanna know the difference between me and you? I'm not a self proclaimed hero, I was doing my job. There is no such thing as a living "Hero", heroes die helping people. You're just another person that had the decency and humanity to do a heroic deed, get away with it, and call themselves a "Hero".
(TMW) Marion Mic 104 Posted December 24, 2013 Sounds like an adrenaline rush B)Good work though First thing officer asked me:" Didn't you think about letting massive oxygen supply into the fire, and what could happeded to me?" Was anyone hurt? I found their dog (pekinezer) and let it out, I haven't seem it then. But it was pretty old dog, so I believe It didn't run far away. And that it is okay. After that drama and my official statement I moved away from the area. I also didn't take any pictures to post it on this forum or any other social networks nor for my "herbary". I like how you claim that you don't like to brag about the things you've done, while bragging about what you've done in the very same post.

Sadly we live in a world where most people only care about themselves. Going out of the way to help others is something we should all do but few actually do. And btw, thank you for your service.
foamninja 77 Posted December 24, 2013 (edited) yes you do look like a dick Ok fair enough I look like a Dick. Oh fucking well, if the dudes telling the truth good for him, and I doubt he lies with that much detail to his story. He helped someone, however he doesn't have to come to a forum for video games to tell what he did. EDIT! Look I apologize for how I acted. I really do, however I think there needs to be an Off Topic Forum for this kind of stuff. Edited December 24, 2013 by FoamNinja

You could just say, "that's great thing you did, but there's no need to brag about it." It gets the same point across. Your post makes you come off as a hypocrite. "Oh you shouldn't brag about things, by the way here's a totally awesome thing I did once.. It was really cool, but I don't like to brag about it."

stinkyghost 28 Posted December 24, 2013 (edited) Seems legit. The other day a dog was walking next to a pond and jumped in, I saved the dogs life and got £100 from the owner. Edited December 24, 2013 by Stinky
(TMW) Marion Mic 104 Posted December 24, 2013 Hi everyone, I went back there, and almost everything is pretty much back to normal. Old woman who lives there said, that she went to church and left advent candles burning. There are also her daughter and husband that helps her clean the room. They thanks to me, and I will just say thank to all of you, that understand my behaviour and sharing this with you. I believe I wouldn't post this now, when I calmed down for a bit, but anyway. I believe I'll just go and heal some more patient today in DayZ, where calling medic a Hero, will harm no one^^. Take care! - MM
