You put it on the end of you rifle and take screenshots of yourself looking cool. 

That's the only use it has so far to my knowledge.

I wish it would open a tin of beans but it can't even do that.

Hello. This is the suggestion forum so this should have been posted elsewhere.

 

To my knowledge there currently is no way to use the bayonet aside from equipping it directly in your hands. Has anyone else experienced otherwise?

Correct, you can not use the bayonet as of yet.  From what I've heard they have the animation set up but they need to get a key configured for it.

Alpha.  I highly doubt they would add a bayonet just for looks.  

 

Hopefully we will be able to mount the bayonet on more then just the mosin.
