NoobAnon 27 Posted December 25, 2013 Actually what your video is showing is the naming convention of MPGS. They just wrote the "Map Version" as "Dayz_Auto" instead of "DayZ_Auto". This actually has nothing to do with time setting. It's more likely that MPGS only has the option to set a static time for the server to be, so if they set it to 3PM, the game will just always be 3PM. Now, the "24/7" filter search does work, it doesn't show all daylight servers. It only shows the servers that are actually advertising themselves as "24/7". Our server is "mostly" day, but we don't advertise that in our Server Title. However, these methods may return good enough results if you are just looking for a 24/7 daylight server. Just not guaranteed, the first is obvious, the "filter" is mostly accurate, although someone can write 24/7 in their server title and the server not be 24/7 daylight, probably rare or never happens, but it's not a garauntee. Hopefully at some point we will have specific naming conventions required for servers to specify server times or 24/7 daylight/night. I'm not trying to say anyone is wrong, just informing people of what that all actually means, it doesn't mean those methods don't work. Although, this post does not belong in this section, this should be moved to Servers.

Thanks for the info, it was just something i noticed, and tried it out close to 15 times, with it only not working once. I dident know why it worked but it did. Yet your explanation of the map version and using the filter instead is much better. i put the post in gallery as it was a youtube video instead of a text discussion even thou it had to do with the server. but like you said im sure at some point we will have specific naming for the servers Edited December 25, 2013 by DrFree_man
