Issues with lag / command delays

since i started playing this alpha i have had no end of issues trying to get my setting for this game to the point where its playable.

 

here is my current issues and if anyone can help that would be great.

 

1. when ever i try to move there is around a 3 to 4 second delay before my character moves as commanded

 

2. when i am pulling out a weapon such as a shovel/ crowbar my character immediately puts it away 

 

3. insane lag to the point where it jumps me through buildings or a silly distance in front of me like 300 meters ( though its useful when being chased my a zombie)

 

any help would be very much appreciated
