Crosshair on game screen

Can Anyone tell me why on my game  - the crosshair is a white dot ?

Is that the way its designed or do I have a glitch.

 

Also Do you know when a map will be available in the near future ?

the white dot is standard crosshair. in the future I believe rocket will be taking it out completely. not sure about the map, they might be waiting to implement the map until the citys are finished being put into the map so they dont have to update the ingame paper map

I have a map of eastern Churnarus in game so they are in.

I've found several full maps and one SE map. They're around. What happened to the broken circle crosshair that I've seen in some of the pre-alpha videos? I like that one.

Circle crosshair was removed for the dot. rocket is slowly weaning people off a crosshair.

gas stations have maps as well, it seems to me the portion of the map you find is relational to where you currently are..

 

i found a map of NE Chernarus in Berezino, a map of NW Chernarus in Vybor, and a map of SE Chernarus in Chernogorsk..

 

i cant be sure though ^_^
