So, Anyone has cooked rice successfully yet?

I'm just wondering if the cooking system is working at all. I currently have rice,matches, gas stove and gas, still missing a pot. (Haven't seen one since I left the coast).

I have not tried it yet. Everyone I have talked to says you cannot yet, so I have just been leaving the cooking supplies behind. I may have to give it a try though just to see.

I assume you need a portable cooking stove, the gas canister for it, a pot, and the rice with some water. Not implemented yet though.

Damn, I would imagine the steps to be:

- combine rice and pot

- fill pot with water

- combine gas and stove

- set gas stove on the ground

- light gas stove with matches

- put pot on your hand

- put pot on the stove

- wait

-???

-Profit!

 

If you tried all that and it still doesn't work, I guess cooking is still not in the game yet.
