Karmaroo 0 Posted December 23, 2013 (edited) So, I killed someone. I won't go into the details, but it was bloody and awful. Anyway, the body dropped and the kill icon hovered. But then the body just disappeared? He was wearing a large mountain backpack too. Nothing too loot. What did I do wrong? Khad (DayZ) 293 Posted December 23, 2013 Most likely he logged off. Sometimes people do this as to prevent you from looting anything. Its a scumbag move.I wonder how to prevent it, because for myself, the RESPAWN isn't working and i have the abort O_O

mySoup117 9 Posted December 23, 2013 Sometimes people chooses to log out not because he/she doesn't want you to get the loot. I believe the body wont disappear after death even if logged out, probably another glitch or you didn't kill him thoroughly, resulted in unconscious instead of dead. The body (unconscious person, to be specific) will disappear if he/she is not dead and chooses to "exit".
