Salt water purification?

Do we have filters, sun powered or other methods of filtering out the salt and purifying salt water yet?

Not as far as I know. Would be cool though!

It's odd not to have anything exist to be able to utilize such a vast resource. It doesn't even have to be complicated, just fill a bucket or container and use the sun to filter it into a central cup.

If when modding comes around and we don't get the 24/7 easy mode PvP maps. Then one could assume a feature like this would be great for a map composed of many islands or were a survivor may have to live on a floating object or structure.
