What are the experimental/test servers?

Do anyone have the IP for one of these?  Can't find them in my server browser  :(

Do i keep my equipped char on the normaI servers when i go on an exp server?

Nope, you will have a different character on the experimental server, BUT you will not lose your character in the stable server branch :)

You need to enable the ability to join the experimental servers in your steam setting. Go to your library>Right click DayZ>Properties>Betas>Opt into experimental. If you havent done that already, that's probably the reason you can't see them
