Is it worth it?

I spawned in the debug plains and cant get out. With the new patch coming that is going to fix this is it worth it to respawn my character? I was very well of got a gun, pistol, tons of ammo and food/water for dayZ. So my question is with this patch will my current character be respawned back to the normal world or will i have to create a new character anyway? So is it worth it to respawn so i can play until this new hotfix is out?

Happened to me too several times (before 1.71.X) walk East or respawn. Not sure if the fix is retroactive. Anyway its just an alpha and the flashlight start is quite an experience :)

If you spawn in the debug land, just abort and switch servers. I have never had to restart due to this. I always switch servers and I spawn where I logged off normally. :)

Same with me all servers spawn me there im goign to try to revert to 1.7.1.4 then run west.

You have an 1-2 hour run south east, I only spawned in the debug forrest. In the wilderness, I might just hit respawn.
