Filling Canteen's

So I picked up a couple of Canteen's and I want to know how to fill them after I've consumed them?

 

I've tried at the water well and at a pond.

Put the canteen in your hands move to the well or pond and mouse wheel , it should say fill canteen

Go into first person, get the canteen in the shortcut menu and get it out by pressing the number it has.

Scroll on the water well or at a pond and klick "fill canteen" :).

Speeking of canteens, a full canteen only holds 10ml = 0,01 liter. This has to be a typo, or is my brain in total vacation mode? Or has it something to do with the canteen been damaged?

It has to do with ALPHA. #GG
