Please go through these links (2) to get a better idea of the situation concerning XP and DayZ SA.

That being said the OP of the linked Topic is able to run the game.
"Well I bought the game, it runs, but from time to time I get an error. I also can't change the video settings as it crashes when I do."

 

There will be no support for XP in the future.
