[Question] Blood type and blood testing kits

Recommended Posts

Hi survivors - Just a couple of quick questions...

1. Blood type.  I found a blood testing kit and I'm O+.   Will I always be O+ or just until I die and respawn, when I'll need to test again?

2. How rare are blood testing kits?  I found one on the second day of Alpha but haven't seen any since?  Are they rare or am I just being unlucky and later to the loot?

1. blood type changes every time  you die.

2. Blood testing kits are semi-rare.. I've found maybe 2-3 of them in the 36 hours of game time.

3. Use saline bags instead of blood bags..

Yep, you need to test again.

Can confirm, you need to test on every respawn.

EDIT: Also as Ether said use saline IV's they have the same effect as bloodbags without needing to test for blood types.

Cheers all

Would be great if you could use the pen to write the blood type (or indeed a different blood type ;) ) on the bag with a pen!
