regarding upcoming "more zombies"

I think the outdoor combat is much better. It will be harder with more zombies which I like. I like being able to actually kill them with an axe instead of them jumping around like UFOs in the mod.

 

However, using an axe inside is almost impossible in hallways and small areas. I guess it would be IRL. Do hand weapons work better? IDK, I just liked indoor combat better in the mod.

 

I think zombie speed inside and out is about right. It's good.

 

But I hope, as more zombies are coming soon, that indoor combat is tightened up first.

They also need to fix how zombies interact with the world and how melee combat functions against them before they start adding more. The zombies passing through walls, in the ground hitting you, and the ineffectiveness of most weapons but the axes really makes it hard to fight a single one off, can't imagine a pack of them.

You don't really need to imagine, just run around like a lunatic in some big towns after a server reboot, you can get 5..6 of em chasing you no problem.

 

I had about 8 once; just to see how hard it was to fight them off. a splitter axe made light work of em, they turn real slow so just run in circles and you'll be fine.

I'm trying to resist playing till major bugs are fixed but its so hard .. least until they fix the zombies and add more but the world is so intriguing I just have to explore !
