New town?

Recommended Posts

Anyone been up in the far north?. There's all kinds of new road works there.

Go to Gvozdno and follow the road north west for about 1km, Looks to me like they're in the process of adding a new town (it'll be a big one too, maybe even bigger than Elektroz). The ground looks like it's been/being prepped for buildings, There's a bunch of new road bridges and a train yard. there's even a football pitch in the middle of nowhere, so I'm guessing that will soon be surrounded with buildings

Theres a bunch of industrial/farm buildings too, quite a bit of free loot up there with zero zombie spawns (yet).

I for one will be watching with great interest to see how that grows with the coming updates, I kinda think the map needs something there and a big town would re-balance the map nicely.

Also looks like there will be some villages east and west, so lots of new stuff up in that previously 'wasted' north :)

I've spent a bit of time exploring the great north of Chernarus over the last few days and the new areas they've added definitely have a LOT of groundwork laid for building positioning. There are already some sheds and light industrial type buildings along the road parallel to the railway line, but not anything particularly great in terms of loot. It's looking like the northern part of Chernarus is going to get a lot more interesting.
