Dyckman 26 Posted December 22, 2013 Spawn, head to cherno, then to balota find nothing, search for a new server. This is pretty much all I'm seeing lately. Or... Spawn, go north, new military base loot, die by a server hopper. If you have no gear, and choose to play in a packed server... forget about it. You're playing with geared people who pretty much server hopped to get their items then go on a killing spree at the coast. I think they should really work on the loot table first and change the method of how it spawns also. After reporting most of my issues with the game, I try to play and it's just pretty darn hard. Everywhere I go it's as dry as a bone, then I could go North and still end up dying making the trip relatively pointless. Of course I don't get attached to my items, but it feels like 75% of people server hop.

ZedsDeadBaby 2287 Posted December 22, 2013 (edited) I'm not sure what your point is. If you're bored with this, do something else. Run to Berezino and NE Airfield. I haven't seen another player in either on any server yet. Zelonogorsk is also pretty empty. Join clan and do something interesting. Or go play something else for a few weeks. Darrus Dreadtiger 6 Posted December 22, 2013 (edited) I guess I should just forego gathering and storing working material and start doing the doctoring from the get-go. I reckon people are more willing to talk to people that only wear casual clothing, small backpacks and a pistol plus bandolier at best... Now I just gotta figure out how to do this best... I just got wounded there, hid behind a building, desynched and was suddenly unconscious. ....This happens to me all the time. I guess fighting is just a bad idea in general. No point in fighting if I can't fight back. Edited December 22, 2013 by Darrus Dreadtiger
linfosoma 38 Posted December 22, 2013 Im fully geared now without server hoping, all I did was head straight north, loot isn't respawning at the moment so your best bet is to go to a town that hasn't been visited yet.I met several players on my quest north, but we mostly decided to stay out of each other's way, finally I made it to the north and got full gear, an M4 with a scope, bipod, and 3 double magazines, a pistol with a magazine (these are super rare) and I have enough water and food for a month. I got all of this in a legit way and I've been alive for about 10 real world hours now. I guess what Im getting at is: not all of us are server hoppers, if you know where to look you can get in good shape very quickly.
R3D B4RON 21 Posted December 22, 2013 Don't go to NWAF, they have added military installations to several other locations around the map. I have yet to see anyone at the NEAF or at Zelen. You don't have to fall into the trap of thinking obtaining as much military grade gear is the only end game. There is plenty to do in Chenarus without going the deathwatch route. Dyckman 26 Posted December 22, 2013 I think I should of made my point clear, loot being once per server restart, server hoppers ruin a lot of the loot. I like player interaction, I can find a back pack, food, water. My point is, it's pretty terrible and gets very tedious to go to a place to be dry to the bone with 10 players in the server.
