Frost20 20 Posted December 21, 2013 3rd party forums as well as public youtube videos are going bananas over the current version of Dayz as it has become exceedingly easy to hack. Not only is it east to hack, the hacks in this game give so much more of value than a simple ESP, they are allowing players to shoot forever, become undetected by the client (invisible), fly, teleport, and all sorts of stuff. While players try to rejoice around what they thought would be a relatively fair game, its becoming more and more apparent that, in its current state, is actually even more hack-able than most multiplayer games. In fact, the hacks currently allow so much, that you could compare Dayz to say, a completely mod-able game like Borderlands. Hacker sites around the globe are looking forward to amazing profits in 2014 as the popularity of this game grows, as well as its hack or be hacked mentality. Kipale 78 Posted December 21, 2013 Cool. Let them hack so dev team can detect hacks more easly and disable them.
Darrus Dreadtiger 6 Posted December 21, 2013 I'm sure it'll be much safer once the game enters beta.
desryachri 95 Posted December 21, 2013 This is good for alpher means valuable information can be gained and patches will be released targeting their exact methods and tools.Dumb of them to go public so quickly.Dose not bother me right now I do not value anything ingame just yet as it's all bug testing and alpher ranting :)
weparo 613 Posted December 21, 2013 Question : If said hacks are so easy to find as you suggest, don't you think the devs got themselves some hacks to analyze them? Free hacks don't last too long i'd imagine. It's the private or paid hacks that do damage. not the ones on YT. (of course they should be banned)

drayson 158 Posted December 21, 2013 Hacks in a new super popular game?! WHAT A SURPRISE! This sounds more like someone is just trying to stir the pot to be honest. Personally I haven't run into any hackers yet. I have confidence that the damage hackers can inflict will be minimized as much as possible to the best of the devs abilities.
mrlaxx 12 Posted December 21, 2013 Although I do believe there are hax floating about, I have yet to run into a hacker myself luckily. Every game has hackers, I just wonder how much it's worth it losing 30$ because your dumbass decided to hack.I know Dean won't let anyone get away with this, it ruined DayZ mod for a huge part, this won't happen to DayZ SA. roadlesstraveled 3 Posted December 21, 2013 When they implement VAC into the game, your risking your steam account being banned from playing on any secure servers in ALL games, is it worth it?

Lady Kyrah 1110 Posted December 21, 2013 When they implement VAC into the game, your risking your steam account being banned from playing on any secure servers in ALL games, is it worth it?Don't kn,ow where you got your info, VAC bans do not put your entire account at risk, only the game you hacked in.
