Flashlight Bug? Maybe already posted. Did not see it

Recommended Posts

Not sure if this has been posted I have looked for about ten minutes and searched but did not find anything. If it is a duplicate please ignore.

At night flashlights shine through walls. making it easier to pinpoint a players location.

Yep, this is a known bug. I'd imagine the devs are working on it as it seems to be pretty game-breaking for nighttime gameplay.

I dont think this is in the top of the list for fixing, it have been around for ages in the bohemia engines, dont even know if its possible to fix it with the current engine they are using, i know this still ocurrs even in arma 3.

The main flashlight bug, IMO, is when you turn off the Flashlight the bulb light part in the flashlight stays on

umm the flashlights work correctly in arma 3 as if that has anything to do with this engine...

Well they didnt in my experience, not on mp anyway.

And it does have something to do with this engine as it is a hybrid of arma 2 and arma 3 engine and characteristics from both engines can be made out in the game.
