Spawning inland.

I newspawned yesterday and found myself in Stary Sobor.

Previously, I've always newspawned out on the coast.

Does anyone know if this is expected behaviour or a bug I've found?

This is a bug.

I *think* it's a bug, although I've not seen anything official one way or the other.

 

Either way, enjoy it! The Novy Sobor spawn is probably my favourite spawn location, as it's nice and central - you can go anywhere without having to walk *too* far, plus there's fewer idiots running round with M4s blasting anything that moves.

Yeah, I think it was probably Novy and then I ran to Stary.

I was asking because there have been reports od spawning in Novy ever since the mod, and it always puzzled me if it's a bug or not. And if it is, and people were supposed to spawn only on the coast, what happened in the code that made some people get that particular Novy Sobor spawn.

Then when you said Stary, i was puzzled even more

I think they took the bug of novy spawn in the mod and made it a real thing (with high chances, unlike the mod) ... I'm loving it to be honest. I hope there are more inland (but not too close to military loot)
