Not implementing Random loot in alpha has created a monster

Myself and my friends have played the SA for a few days. Currently all the good stuff is spawning in the airfields. It has created server hopp hysteria. Like Warz there are just mindless fully geared people shooting on sight then calling you every name under the sun.

Exploration is pointless as nothing spawns anywhere in houses or barns. The odd rotten apple. Yes I know its alpha but seriously was looking forward to exploring. Not another mindless Balota pvp fest.

Yes I want to be part of the alpha process but seriously this stuff should have been addressed before release. I haven't even the will to log in and hunt 2 hours for a motorbike helmet, hammer and rotten kiwi. Oops I forgot the can of tuna.

People were server hopping in the mod when you could just cycle loot. They will always server hop if they can.

 

 

You like to think nothing spawns out there but there are literally entire towns completely untouched that I've come across and feasted at.

 

I like how even when Rocket takes his time to release you still want to say, "THIS should have been fixed BEFORE release." Really? I've had fun. It's nice and cozy once you get off the coast.

 

Finally, what's stopping you from exploring?

The problem isn't where the loot spawns, it's that people can just server hop to get it or go camp it until restart. Semi-random restarts may help one part of that, there are other solutions to server hopping people have suggested.
