Confirmation of Changes Bug (Can't Interact with Anything)

Whenever I join a server i'm essentially in what I like to call a "Twilight Zone". My character spawns and I can run around, but: I can't use any of my items, I can't interact with any objects or zombies, and I cannot see players nor can they see me. Eventually, if I stay in the server long enough, an error pops up saying "Confirmation of Changes - Connection with the Host Has Been Lost". This has rendered the game literally unplayable. I've tried populated and unpopulated servers. I've tried checking the integrity of the files and uninstalling my game. I've tried deleting the DayZ files in "My Documents" and "AppData" (even though I know this is most likely something to do with the hive server and not my own computer). If there is any solution please let me know.

It can't be my firewall because I've played the game already with no prior issue. I've also tried tons of servers. None of them work.
