Darrus Dreadtiger 6 Posted December 21, 2013 (edited) It was about two hours ago when I sat in my dedicated home building in Lopatino, looking out the window at the grayish trees and fields, wondering what I should do with the evening. When I checked the map from the wiki though I had the greatest idea. I needed to waste some time to heal up, want to see something new and preferably not die... and then I noticed that brand new road in the north. A road connecting Lopatino over a north main road with Gusa, north of Berezino... I thought to myself: "I'm gonna run that damn thing. I wanna see what there is to see". Before going I are up almost all of my foodstuffs and then set off to the north to explore this brand new road. Here are the rough impressions I got from doing that: Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees... Mmh, there's a lone train station with a construction site in the middle of nowhere.... Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees, Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees, Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees, Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees, Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees, Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees, Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees, Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees... Ohh! Buildings! Just a few warehouses and farm buildings but at this point I need some sensory input other than foliage, fields and endless road... Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees, Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees.... Ohhh... An extensive road network on the other side of a ditch, connected by roads. Looks like there's going to be a city here some time in the future... and if so, it'll have a quite beautiful city entrance. I am looking forward to exploring it once it's there..... Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees.... Mmmhh, those are some nice cliffs! A little bit too much undulation in the stony texture, but nice nonetheless.... Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees....Hello Gusa! When I arrived I was a few pieces of knowledge richer as well as fully healed. Little wonder, considering that I have been jogging for almost two hours straight! ....and I saw almost NOTHING. Nothing other than nice, open landscape and a few glimpses of the future. Of things to be there eventually. However, I am also grateful that I did it because it allowed me to catch up on two Yahtzee Croshaw videos I haven't seen yet as well as knowing that there is a very scenic road which can take me from Berezino to my home town rather stress free. Would I recommend it? ...yes, actually. If you're into gazing at the landscape or just have time to burn I'd say give it a go. You get the chance to see something you haven't seen before. Edit: It's actually called "Guba", not "Gusa". I misread the map. It's late, give a guy a break! Edited December 21, 2013 by Darrus Dreadtiger

CREDiBLE 42 Posted December 21, 2013 Hahaha, loved this. I've been doing some most unwilling recon up there myself. Was trying to get from Gvozdno to Krasnostav, and without a map or compass ended up in the northern road network. Ended up in Khelm an hour or so later. 6/10 would get lost again.
