this really bugs me, i know it's alpha and  i'm not sure if or not they are going to add this sooner or later, but it is hard to find others + new players  will also have trouble with this issue. any plains they adding this soon?

on the point of new players having trouble, that's kinda the point - it's not meant to be forgiving or easy or helpful, it's meant to be harsh

The most easy way to find people is to run around and find any kind of town. Look for the sign that tells you what the town is called, go to DayZDB and find the town. Have your friends do the same and use the map to follow roads until you meet up.

Game is steep for learning. Once you get to know the whole map, it's not nearly as fun. Enjoy it while it lasts.

I'm pretty sure this is an intended feature and personally I love it.

Same here. First thing you have to do when you spawn is look around and go "Hm, this part of the shore looks like I'm in ____" or "Where the fuck am I? I'm fucking lost.". If it were up to me, you'd spawn in the middle of the wilderness and have to run around to try and find your way to a road. This whole coast spawn stuff promotes running to Elektro and Cherno, because eventually you'll get there and people that have played the mod quite a bit can easily get there. Good luck doing that if you spawn in BFE.

you will start to learn the towns the more you play.
