Military Base

[Demophon 48]

Me and my pal were making our way to the Northern West Airfield in hope of finding us some better equipment to continue our campaign around Chernarus.

It was a chilly and dark evening, and as we were crossing an open field my friend perked up and pointed out the military base to the far south.

 

Not taking any chances of being shot in the open field, we shouldered our axes and sprinted across the "Sniper's Wet Dream" of a field. I pointed out multiple sniper locations, over 3 hills and dozens of tree lines capable of covering any nut job with a Mosin..

 

We hurried to a gap in the once know wall that seemed to have a perimeter around the collection of military buildings.

 

I was running for cover when I saw a distinctive looking crouched man in a military outfit walking into one of the multiple barracks.

 

"Woah, there's a guy in there."

 

"You sure?"

 

"I'm positive."

 

I looped around the barracks and crouched around the windows that peered into the rooms of the barracks. In the final room was our little friend.

 

"Yep, he's definately there. Just now we don't have surprise on our side."

 

Our friend quickly dived onto the floor in the corridor and my friend hosed him down with pistol rounds.

But later on our victory was spoiled by his disapearing body and absolutely none of the loot from the kill

 

We checked the barracks and collected supplies, this time treasuring two M4A1's with multiple attachments and military clothes and bags.

"Nice, I think we're done here."

 

I wasn't completely satisfied as I only had a smaller magazine with 10 rounds for the M4. 

"Let's go check the last building and book it."

 

We headed towards the last two floor military base in the compound.

A new pair of boots was all that we found on the first floor so we climbed up to the second floor

 

My friend walked over to the side of the room to find a shiny object on the floor,

"Ooh a can opener"

 

I opened a door and saw a suspicious person that I though was my friend.

"Hey, you find any mags fo-"

 

I then turned to see my actually friend sat in the corner.

 

Oh shit.

 

I spun around and shot the imposter 7 times in the chest. He fell like a sack of potatoes, thinking that it was over I approached him, a sudden twitch and I put the remaining 3 bullets into his skull.

 

I managed to get myself the ammo I needed and we just continued our campaign

Nice story but... Can opener? New pair of boots? Is'nt this Dayz SA.

If it is it should be in the Dayz SA section, not the Dayz mod;)
