Firemans axe a little too powerfull.

Recommended Posts

An axe will penetrate Kevlar.

I have recently bought a bullet proof vest " Ghost " is what it is called and fits under clothing. To protect from Knifes, and Ice pick type items, i had to choose that kind of protection.

What came with the Kevlar was chain mail, very light and strong, sitting on top of the kevlar, tightly woven together. You have to have special protection for edged and penetration type weapons that sits on top of the Kevlar.

----

This is the armor type on my vest.

NIJ II

Edged: 1 (up to level 2)

Spike: 1 (up to level 2)

NIJ IIIa stops all handgun type rounds without plates, however, you can still be killed by the blunt force trauma (organ damage)

Edged 2 will stop pretty much all edged blades, such as a knife blade, from tearing through the Kevlar.

Spike 2 will stop pretty much anything with spike damage such as an Ice Pick or the tip of a knife.

You can lose consciousness from chopping a finger off let alone being hit in the leg with a freaking fireman's axe IRL.

What really wouldn't make sense is getting chopped in the arm or leg, keep running, aiming and firing, then just get bandaged and you're good as new! Well, almost.

EDIT: btw, if the guy i chopped up in zelenogorsk military installation in the last half hour is reading this thread, i'm really sorry dude, but you had your gun out and, you know... This brings me to an unrelated complaint: if someone is as good as dead and their game "crashes" the body should remain in game for looting.

i never said the axe was OP but it should take more than one blow to be put unconcious, chopping a leg off does not take one swing. it WOULD hurt however if we both start at 15 feet and im shooting, enough bullets would do far more harm than an axe.
