Refreshing blood by rest? How long?

I have two blood bags and a blood tester but no IV thing.

I have no hunger pangs or thirst pangs and the inventory screen has no indicators. Does natural refreshing of healing work and do I have to go prone to do it or anything and how long till I can see good again?

Sitting down might help, but Im not sure.

 

 

Just having your hunger and thirst to full should slowly let you recover blood.
