Should i buy ARMA 2 to play mod?

Hais,

 

I just recently bought the DayZ standalone to follow the development, and i'm honestly surprised how good it is and not to mention how much potential it has. 

 

The standalone i got like 5 irl friends to play with, the mod i got none? i think. I just wondered how it is to play it, and if its easy to get together with groups etc.

Just so it said, i don't like KoSing, i like PvE and killing bandits or what you seem to refer to them as ^^ 

 

Considering its only 5 euros atm, it sounds a bit tempting :)

 i don't like KoSing, i like killing bandits 

Same thing really, KoSing is killing on sight(ing). Shooting bandits on sight without talking to them is KoSing, keep in mind not everyone in a bandit skin is bad, they may have got it by killing a group of survivors shooting at them in self defence and if they are actual bandits they are not all evil.

Now the bigger question is, is the missinterpretation to play or to play play :P

Ofc, but i like to hear what pro, cons the mod has to the soon-to-be standalone. Ofc. decision like that is on myself :P
