I just found my first NVG's ever and really want to test them out desperately trying to find a server with normal day/night cycle and not ONLY daytime bullshit gets kind boring too look after 20 different servers...Anyone that can give me some server tips with both day/night cycle that is alot of people on?Thanks in advance! bptrav 0 Posted June 21, 2012 If you want to find a server that is currently nighttime look for servers that actually say what timezone they use in the server name (such as UTC -5, UTC+10, etc) and figure it out from there: http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_UTC.aspxYou can also sometimes tell what time it is by the server location, but not all servers necessarily run their actual location's timezone. Most people play when they get off of work or whatever during the evenings..this is why there aren't many servers in the night. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
robindencoola2@hotmail.se 2 Posted June 21, 2012 I do this i look for servers that have their GMT+/- in the name but for e.g i went into a GMT +1 server just now (all SE1,2,3,4,5,6) servers and all of them are currently daytime for some reason even tho it should be nighttime... Maybe alot of servers are bugged and require a restart to set the current time?buuuuuuuuuump give me server tips ppl what server is nighttime right now??? sexacutioner 1 Posted June 21, 2012 This really depends on when they last restarted the server. That's the time it will ALWAYS be when you first join.So if they restarted it just before evening, you will have a play a few hours before it gets dark. I personally just play on one server everyday and see during the daylight it is full, when the night comes it drops down to 4-5 players, including myself.
