FPS, Drinking & Eating, Nighttime......

So here we are standalone is here and we have a long way to go till its done and ready to be played to its fullest...

A few things id like to say ....

 

I find that if i have my settings on max im getting 30-40 frames and if i put them down low i get the same... No change at all.

 

Drinking and eating i feel needs touching up slightly but like th fact that no longer can you run 6-8km without needing a drink or feeling hungry. (Gives us something to think about) I must find enough food to last for my journey across the map.

 

Lastly is nighttime and im probably going to get some slack for it but every server being nightime during my peak time of playing.

I work so when i get home and get sorted i hop on to find all the servers are now night and i could easilly go to a US server but my ping becomes horrible.

 

With all that said, I am really impressed with the ALPHA and can only see great things.... The gameplay is a lot more prettier also.

ya, food/water I am sure will be worked out. As it is right now... you can bearly go town to town without being thirsty or hunger. I love the fact that you have to plan out trips and such with food/water resources but its a little to high right now. I am sure in time they will have it at a happy/medium with most players.

 

I thought I read some place that "half" the servers are night the other half are day atleast thats what it seems on the US servers for me. Some of them are night, some are day no matter what time it is for me in my current location. Have you checked all the servers in your area?

I am a player from the USA, and the large majority of servers are night during our peak hours. There are a select few servers, however, that are daytime during our peak hours - the hardest part is finding them. You might have to do a lot of searching, and it's definitely something that I hope is changed in the future, but I guarantee that there is a daytime server somewhere.
