latiasracer 8 Posted December 19, 2013 After 9 hours in the game, low and behold - I FOUND A PISTOL! AND, in the very next room across, was some .45 bullets (The guns name has 45 in it - so i'm assuming it takes these?) However, i can't for the life of me figure out how to actually use them. I did find a Stanag mag that was empty, Which gave me the uneasy feeling that i need a magazine to put the bullets in. If so, how rare are they - and where can i find them? kichilron 8550 Posted December 19, 2013 (edited) Because you need a magazine for the pistol, obviously. I would suggest searching in military buildings. louis25 1 Posted December 19, 2013 (edited) military base near spawn has m4's and pistols but loadsa people camp the place just cause they know people search for it find a mosin after 2 hours in the first big town away from spawn in a farm house...guess i got lucky find that one hah. One really nice thing about the Mosin is the built in magazine making it easier to get to using it. Oh well, I have a holster so i may as well carry it around untill i find some (Or the more likely option, I'm shot and killed) Because you need a magazine for the pistol, obviously. Anyone know if the 7.62 ammo you find in a 20 rnd clip can be used for the Mosin....I have had a mosin for ever and cant load the 7.62 rnds in it. Does it take different 7.62 rnds?
