How come I got sick when I was donating my blood to a friend?

What do you mean by sick?

either the blood had an infection or diesease or the IV kit was infected.

Or if you gave the wrong blood type to the recpient then they'll get ill and die.

Maybe the IV kit had an infection? I'm sure that's in game. Such as if an infected player handles an item then then it has a chance to carry and infection. Or it was a stupid bug !

If you had a different blood type then you'd get sick

When they take blood from you, you lose blood.  You have to regain it yourself. 

 

Are you sure you're actually sick or just missing that 25% (or whatever it is) blood from your body?

I got sick too. It wears off if you just eath and drink healthy. 30 minutes and it was gone for me. Just check your inventory that the "sick" icon doesn't turn red. Then you might want to get some antibiotics or similar.

from what i gathered from other sources, you would need to use some means of desinfection like alcohol or spray on the items, before you use them.

you wouldnt use non sterile syringes in rl would you?

now imagine a post apocalyptic zombie infested world... i would never use any medical item on my body before some desinfection. ;)
