Ozar 108 Posted December 20, 2013 Right, ........ i.e., knowing when a server restart occurs gives you knowledge about loot that you shouldn't have that is the big point on having loot respawned with server-reset. But a respawn every 5 Minutes would ruin the game.My Opinion is that the loot should be really rare. maybe the interaction with other players increases if the loot is really rare.But it could also increase the KOS Problem. beelzebossi@hotmail.com 28 Posted December 20, 2013 (edited) Fast loot respawn can be really bad for the survival balance, because its way too easy to just stay in one city. There is lots of food if you keep moving and search different towns, so in my opinion scavenging should be like that. Also when players can't just camp in one town for food it forces them to move, which creates lots of interaction, pvp in woods or small towns. hoschelhoff 15 Posted December 20, 2013 (edited) How about this:You loot a building, you leave the 500m(adjustable) vicinity, then after 30 mins(adjustable), loot respawns. Unless there is someone else within the 50m(adjustable) vicinity, so loot doesn't magically spawn in your face. Also, make military loot take at least twice as long to respawn. If at all.
