corpses dragging themselves along the ground glitch

i was looting balota when a guy with a spade came at me. Sure enough I shot him but then everything got weird when his corpse dragged itself across the entire airfield, I followed it all the way to the ocean where it just disappeared beyond the waters.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Sounds like he turned into a zombie and crawled away. Consider yourself lucky! :p

This happened to me on release day but luckily the body hovered into a wall so I could loot them.

On the first day I won an axe fight, checked my back before looting him and when I turned around the body was gone.

This has happened to every freshly killed player I've met so far. Makes it impossible to loot them as they're either glitching back and forth on the ground or constantly dragging to rocket only knows where on the map.

hmmm.... irl if he was say a cow or deer or such, id say shoot him again at base o skull/ neck, it stops em doing weird shit like that... try that next time :huh:
