In-Game Mic will not work for me

I played the mod and used direct comms many times. I know my mic is turned on, plugged in, set to my default device. And it is set to my device under steam settings as well...

But when i get in game its like i dont have a mic, i try to talk and no one can hear me, i tried to mess with the settings to see what i can find out, to my surprise tehre arent very many voice option settings, just input volume and i even tried to raise it to full and it still hasnt done anything

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Have you tried these solutions?

 

• Adjusting permission privileges? (Found in your Steam folder on My Computer and right clicking the DayZ application)
  
• Running the game on Administrator?
  
• Adjusting your microphone through your sound settings (Recording settings in particular)

I wish EVERYONE had this issue. It's annoying as hell hearing people on the other side of the map as it stands right now.

No none of those worked :( it sucks because i cant interact with anyone in the game, because they dont look at the chat box....

Is there anything else I can do?
