Bad version, Server rejected connection

Hey.

I get Bad version, Server rejected connection on most servers. (I got on one server, but it was night time!)

 

Can anyone tell me why?

Verify your cache. Your version does not match the version the server runs.

How does one update? I thought steam did that automatically? I am new to steam so I have no idea.

 

 

right click on dayz in steam and got to properties

 

should be a update tab there, also make sure the beta tab is not on experimental
