How easy is it finding your friends in SA?

So I'm thinking of buying my friend Standalone. But how easy it is to find eachother? In the mod it's really hard if your both freshspawns.

 Is it easier or harder?

More or less the same. You still have to meet up. Hope it stays that way.

 

But it is easier to join the same server as your friend.

As long as you know the map not hard. I played so much that i know it by heart and i can tell where i am just by looking at the lay of the land and using the sun and moon to navigate if i dont have a compass.

The only thing that makes it harder is that it doesn't tell you where you spawn now.  So if you know where you spawn, you can meet up just as easily as you did in the mod.

Same system so far, just have to keep killing yourself until you spawn close to each other.
