maps?

So.. do maps work? I got 2 map parts, combined them together to make a map of S Chernarus. Its in pristine condition, but when its in my inventory or in my hands and i press M  , a black screen comes up and there is no map. Is this happening for anybody else? Am i doing something wrong?

Don't press "M" - you need to drag it to your hotbar form your inventory and then press the assigned key from the hotbar as if you were getting it in your hand. That will open it up. Give it a while and don't press it multiple times, as that will close it again.

Place it in your hotbar and press the number assigned to the hotkey to use your map.
