Cantines not working?

So I found a bug, I was running up to pavlovo, and it says I'm thirsty, so I go into the inventory and drink from my cantine, a bit later it says I need to drink something, I drink again, happened a couple of time after that, so I'm drinking from my cantine but my thirst is not satiated, I'm posting this here because for some reason I can't use the bug tracker thingy, so if anybody else found this or want to report it, please do

 

EDIT: Before anyone goes out and scream at me saying it's alpha deal with it, I understand it is alpha and I'm not complaining, I'm notifying a bug I found so it can be fixed

You have to drink x percentage to satisfy y so if you are running loads you will need to consume alot of water to compensate the balance.  I burn through items extremely fast just keeping my character up to par.

I'm not being able to refill my canteen in a pond - is that working as intended? Couldn't find a well yet, but I thought I might be able to use the water from lakes. Meh.

It's sometimes extremely hard to find the "right spot". Keep trying. It helped me being crouched and looking exactly at the waterline. Even though I knew that it took me a while, though.

Yeah but I was drinking just when it started saying I was getting thirsty, but instead of going back to not being thirsty and starting the process again, it just kept getting worse as if I wasn't drinking at all
